Hi, I’m Julia.
I’m a physical therapist who helps runners and active people navigate pain, return to training, and build confidence in what their body can handle.
Most of the people I work with don’t want to stop training, they just want to know how to keep going without making things worse or second-guessing every run.
In traditional rehab settings, I keep seeing the same pattern: people are either told to fully rest until they felt better, or they push through and hope for the best. And most runners ended up stuck somewhere in between.
That’s where I focus now, the middle ground between “do nothing” and “do too much.”
A lot of the runners I work with are dealing with pain during training, returning after time off, or trying to build toward something without setbacks. And most of the time, the issue isn’t just the symptoms, it’s not knowing what’s actually okay to do next.
That’s what we figure out together.
Most of my work is with runners, but I also work with hikers and backpackers dealing with similar challenges, especially when preparing for longer trips or rebuilding after time off.
Because whether it’s running or hiking, the goal is the same: stay consistent, stay confident, and keep moving forward without guessing.
Not more rest. Not pushing through blindly.
Just clarity on how to move forward in a way that actually fits your goals.
